Promor delivered the turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) scope for the external turret mooring system.

Promor's scope encompassed the design, supply, and integration of the complete turret mooring system, including the turret head and shaft assembly, swivel stack, gantry structure, piping and pig receiving facilities, turret winch and hydraulic power unit (HPU), rigid arm structure, and the engineering required for seamless integration into the vessel bow.

The turret system featured a robust 3 x 3 all-chain mooring arrangement secured by driven anchor piles, designed to provide reliable station-keeping in a region exposed to seasonal tropical cyclones and challenging metocean conditions. Hydrocarbon transfer from the production facilities to the FSO was facilitated through a dedicated 6-inch crude oil riser integrated within the turret system.
